Now I'm planing to skill up my English. First, I want to check my English level. Then I will try some test which tells me my level.

Wake up!

I wake up early this  morning. I don't know why I wake up so early. Last night I went to bed very late.
It's a good day. Fine  weather.
The problem is ... I'm still in my bed.

I'm OK now.

I'm safe.
Last month, large earthquake hit Japan. My hometown was damaged. My parents and I are safe. Our dogs and fish are safe, too.
My home is OK, but inside the house, many things fell down. I couldn't clean up my room. Many books and CDs are still on the floor, because my bookshelf was broken by the earthquake.
Sometimes the ground is still shaking.
Yesterday, the JR train restored my hometown area. But the train comes not so many.
After settling down, I want to go university.

Sakura!

University was beginning this week. Ueno Park is very beautiful! Many cherry blossoms are blooming. This year, I'm in the 3rd greed. I have to study more and more...

English Conversation's

The following text is the homework of English Conversation.

In the summer vacation, I had many things to do. At first, I had a dance performance at Ryougoku in July. Next, I prepared for Geisai, becouse I exhibited my work. Then, the next one was very hard, but I enjoyed very much. I went to Toyama to participate in the Toyama Performing Arts Festival 2009.

I went there with some children - 4 elementary school students, 4 junior high school students, 1 university student and my mother (my mother is a coleographer). We arrived at Toyama Station at noon, then we took a bus to go Toga Village. It took 2 hours to go Toga. Toga Village is located in the heart of the mountain, the bus went by a narrow road. Then we arrived at Toga, first we went to the theatre where we performed our dance. After finishing rehearsal, we went to the hotel.

Next morning, we got up at 5:00 am and prepared for the first stage began at 10:00 am. The festival had 2 stages, so the second stage began at 2:00 pm. There was very little time between the first and second stage.

The teatre was very unusual. It was a wooden house with a steep rafter roof. It was designed by a famous architect, Arata Isozaki. The stage had a very strange shape and many pillars were on the stage.

After finishing the stage, we left Toga Village. It took about 2 hours by bus and 4 hours by train to get back to our hometown. The children were very, very energetic, so they didn't sleep, but played card games and ate confectionery in the train....

It was a very hard schedule, but I now know about children's power.....

My Fishes

These gold fishes are my pets. They came to my house a month ago.
In August, there was a festival. I got them that festival (金魚すくい). They grow quick, the water tank becomes smaller for them.
Yesterday, I came back hame, I was surprise!! The water plants was in the tank!!
This photo shows befor and after the tank. The tank become narrower for them, but it seems comfortable.
.......if they grow more, I have to buy bigger water tank....

Geisai!!!!

I'm sorry not to update this blog! I was very busy... this time is not to write reports, but to prepare for an exhibition!

Last weekend, we had a school cultural festival, Geisai! It is the biggest event. Many exhibitions, concerts held in Geisai. This year, I and my friends tried an exhibition.

Usually our department doesn't make works of art.(because we belong to aesthetic & art history) I made a short movie. This is the first time for me to make a short movie, but I enjoyed making this work. Composing a story and movie was difficult, I need to get more computer skills.

I think this experiment is important for us, because we will study "art".

Outlet's!

Near my hometown, a big outlet's opened in july. Today I went to there with my best friend.

Many shops are there and almost things are cheaper. I bought my automn & winter coat. Not only clothes but also miscellaneous goods are substantial. We enjoyed there for half a day. This weekend, this outlet's holds a summer premium sale! I want to go!

Lotus Flowers

Today(17th, August), I went to school to enroll the meeting for Geisai. I will exhibit my works with my friend. This meeting is the last before Geisai to explain how to use our exhibition space.

After that, I and my friend went to Mihashi, it's a Japansese sweet shop, and we ate Annmitsu. It was delisious, so, if you want to go, I recommend the shop in Atre.

Then, I went to Sinobazu Pound. Lotus flowers are going to bloom. When these flowers bloom, I will go there to take some photos.

Summer Blue Sky

I did the washing. It was a fine day to wash many laundry.

I washed my Tsunagi (overalls) . Overalls dryed off soon.

In the morning, many clouds were in the sky, but in noon, there were no clouds. The sun was shinning beautiful. I wish we can see this beautiful sky forever.

URABONNE -盂蘭盆会-

盂蘭盆会 ; a Buddhist ceremony held on July 15, according to the lunar calendar, when prayers are offered to one's ancestors (from Progressive Japanese-English Dictionary)

・・・・・・・then, I have to clean my house.(＿＿;)
In the night, we lighted a fire. It is a sign to call in our ancestors to our house. OBON is one of the Japanese traditional event.
Still my room is messy・・・ but, my reports deadline is coming soon(￣□￣;)!! I have to do it now (@_@;)

My Birth Day!

Today is my birth day! (^o^)

I went to Kabuki-za! It was first time for me to go there (^_^;A

This is the third time for me to see Kabuki. I enjoyed to see it.

Kabuki-za will remodel next Summer. So this year is the final stage.

Many people come to see Kabuki-za.

I'm sleeping now...

Good evening! It's 0:20 now.
I'll go to bed.
You think it is so late.
BUT! this is very early for me.
These days, I have to work harder and sometimes I slept 4 or 5 hours.
And today is Saturday!
I can sleep noon.
Oh, I forget!
I have to go for my studio to work today.
I can't sleep so late......

Bird vol.2

Hi! I'm fine now. In my neighbourhood, the flu is going to epidemic. I have to take care about my and my family's health.

Today(I write this on Friday, but the incident is Thursday ) I made a sculpture. See this picture. It's model is my companion bird name is Sophie. She is an quarrian. I think it resembles my bird, but my friends told me "It's like a Trippi!" I don't know about Torippi, my friends say it is a character. Does anyone know?

Birth Day!

Today is my father's birth day. We celebrated him.

I presented him books "1Q84" written by Haruki Murakami.

He looked pleased.

When he finish reading this books, I promise him to lend it me.

About Myself

I didn't tell you about myself. Today, I'll introduce myself.
You know, My name (nickname) is NON.
I'm a university student, so I study art history and aesthetics.
Last week, I had a presentation. I prepared very hard for it.
Then... I have to get through a backlog of my assignment.
And, I made some bag logos. I'll talk it later.

I have a Japanese Art History class today. I like this class, but it's complicated.
Because, this class take up "What is Japanese paintings".
So many artists groups arose and disappear.
It's not easy to understand modern Japanese paintings.
